You can manually request a Device Shadow update.

Using AWS IoT Console, select Manage > Things.
The Things section appears, listing all your things.
- Select a thing to view the Details page.

On the right-hand side, select Edit.

In the Set searchable thing attributes (optional) section, alongside ActionRequest, type the Value as
ObtainMetadata.

Select Update.
A Success message appears at the top of the Details page.
- In the left-hand menu, select Shadows.
- Select Classic Shadow to view the updated details.
Certificate Delivery is not included when the request is manually requested.
