# About the Hera 604

Learn about Hera 604 connectivity, interfaces, and remote management.

The Hera 604 is an M2M-grade 3G/4G router for connecting IoT devices and remote assets over cellular, Wi-Fi and Ethernet networks. It is the LTE model in the Hera 600 series and supports automatic failover from Ethernet WAN to cellular.

Its aluminium enclosure makes it suitable for industrial and remote installations.

### Key features

* **Multi-network cellular connectivity:** The embedded Eseye AnyNet SIM provides access to more than 800 mobile networks across 190 countries. Two removable SIM slots provide additional connectivity options.
* **Automatic connectivity recovery:** The Health Monitor can optionally activate High Availability. If connectivity is lost, High Availability scans for available networks, then cycles through and tests each network until connectivity is restored.
* **Local device connectivity:** Four Gigabit Ethernet ports, concurrent Wi-Fi and two serial ports support different types of connected equipment.
* **Edge protocol conversion:** Included applications connect serial and Modbus equipment to MQTT and IP services.
* **Remote device management:** The DMS Management Server provides remote access to device configuration and status, including remote update options.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.eseye.com/hera604/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
